UV system installed to disinfect baggage at Kuala Lumpur International Airport

From Petaling Jaya, FreeMalaysiaToday.com reports Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) announced a new automatic ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system for baggage arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport to curb the spread of Covid-19 and other diseases. In a statement, it said UV bulbs had been installed in an enclosed tunnel within the baggage handling system to disinfect baggage automatically as they pass through the conveyor system.
