New Mexico Hospital Looks for $60,000 to Buy & Install UV Disinfection Equipment
Hannah Grover at Farmington Daily Times reports San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M., is soliciting $60,000 from local legislators for ultraviolet lights in one section of the hospital to help with disinfection as well as $270,000 to turn some of the patient rooms into negative pressure isolation rooms, which can prevent the spread of airborne pathogens.
