Safety+Health Magazine profiles G4S’ SAM-UVC robot
The SAM-UVC robot is designed to sanitize 48,000 square feet of space within three hours, without harsh chemicals. The robot uses UV-C technology, which is an effective way to kill all pathogens on a surface, destroying the RNA of viruses and DNA of bacteria in seconds. The SAM-UVC robot also generates a report as it scans and disinfects an area, providing important audit data so employers can clearly demonstrate how their operations are safe, secure and sanitized.
