NBC 24 News reports ProMedica Toledo Hospital‘s neurological intensive care unit has a powerful new aid in its environmental sanitation procedures. The Xenex ultraviolet “sanitizing robot” projects high-wavelength light to destroy microorganisms as far as its light can reach, pervading often-missed areas. It has been proven to deactivate SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in two minutes.
