LedComm Pares Number of Offensive UV Technology Products Identified in Lawsuit Against Westinghouse
LedComm LLC sued Westinghouse Lighting Corporation last month for infringing on proprietary technologies incorporated without permission in horticultural ultraviolet and other lighting products. The seven patents at issue are U.S. Patent Nos. 6,803,606, 6,982,522, 7,012,277, 7,154,125, 7,161,190, 7,301,176, and 7,490,959. LedComm tells the Court it wants compensation for the harm it’s suffered as a result of Westinghouse’s past and continuing infringement. In an amended complaint filed this week, LedComm reduced the number of offensive Westinghouse products it says improperly use LedComm technology.
