Larson Electronics Says Sterilray’s 222 nm UV Technology Lawsuit Is Bogus Because Its Patents Are Invalid
Larson Electronics LLC denies it has committed or is committing acts of infringement and denies High Energy Ozone LLC d/b/a Far-UV Sterilray is entitled to any judicial relief concerning sterilization technology described in U.S. Patent Nos. 8,975,605 and 9,700,642. Larson says HEO3’s vague use of the phrases “the lighting business,” “lighting products containing Far-UV wavelengths including 222 nm,” “lighting products for sanitation,” “specialty excimer lamps,” “reflects at least three categories of 222 nm light sources,” “Representative Microplasma Board Products,” “Representative Excimer Lamp Product,” and “Representative Excimer Bulb Product,” make it difficult to understand and respond to all of Sterilray’s claims.
