Kaiser Aluminum Corporation Evaluates Ultraviolet Light Advanced Oxidation Process
As reported in its Form 10-Q for the quarterly period ended June 30, 2021, filed on July 26, 2021, with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Kaiser Aluminum Corporation disclosed it is evaluating Ultraviolet Light Advanced Oxidation Process, one of the technologies under an Amended Agreed Order signed by the Company with the Washington State Department of Ecology (“Ecology”). Kaiser Aluminum reports that it continues to pursue remediation activities, primarily to address the historical use of oils containing polychlorinated biphenyls (“PCBs”) at its Spokane, Washington (“Trentwood”) facility.
