Judge Thompson Hears Partial Motion to Dismiss Seoul Semi v. Finelite & Takes Matter Under Advisement
The Honorable Trina L. Thompson entertained oral argument from lawyers at McCARTER & ENGLISH, LLP, and RADULESCU LLP earlier this week about partially dismissing a lawsuit Seoul Semiconductor and Seoul Viosys brought against Finelite, Inc. In an objection filed Sept. 21, Seoul Semiconductor Co., Ltd., and Seoul Viosys Co. told the Court their complaint against Finelite, Inc., is adequately pled and he should deny Finelite’s partial motion to dismiss their lighting technology patent lawsuit filed on May 13. Seoul adds that Finelite prematurely seeks to introduce material from an inter partes review process and talk about claim construction and damages.
