HEO3 Commences Fourth 222 nm UV Technology Patent Suit, This Time Against Larson Electronics LLC
High Energy Ozone LLC d/b/a Far-UV Sterilray (commonly known as HEO3) dispatched its team of lawyers from King & Spalding LLP to sue Larson Electronics LLC last week for allegedly infringing on the sterilization technology described in U.S. Patent Nos. 8,975,605 and 9,700,642. High Energy wants Larson to stop manufacturing and selling “more than 120 lighting products . . . incorporat[ing] either ‘ozone-free excimer lamps or compact microplasma boards that generate far-UV 222 nm bands,'” because they allegedly infringes on HEO3’s patented technology.
