Aurora Food Storage Containers with Device for Ultraviolet-C Disinfection
Ben Coxworth in New Atlas discussing features of Aurora’s new storage container that helps food remain fresh longer. The loaded container is inserted into a device for vacuum packing and 30 second UV-C irradiation. It’s always a shame when you buy fresh produce, only to have it spoil in the fridge before you can use it. The Aurora system is designed to keep that from happening, using a combination of ultraviolet light and vacuum packing.
